Yerköprü Waterfall — Mersin
Yerköprü Waterfall — in Mut district. A registered natural monument waterfall gushing out of a travertine tunnel on the Göksu River; famous for its turquoise pool. Google Maps rating 4.6 (912 reviews).

About
Yerköprü Waterfall pours from the mouth of a travertine tunnel about 250 metres long, formed by the Göksu River over millions of years, near the Evren (Geçimli) village of Mut. The water passes through the limestone mass and falls from about 30 metres into a turquoise pool; the formation takes its name, meaning 'natural bridge', from this travertine tunnel.
The area, registered as a natural monument, is among photographers' favourite spots with the pool into which the waterfall pours and the rock formations around it. Swimming in the pool is appealing for those who like cold water, but caution is needed against the current. Its flow is at its highest in spring; the water may decrease in late summer.
