AC (Type 2) charging is slow and suited to long parking; DC (CCS2 or CHAdeMO) fast charging gains range in a short time during a journey. Check which connector your vehicle supports.
Summer heat
At high temperatures battery cooling consumes energy and fast charging can slow down; prefer shaded stations and night-time.
Verify before you go
Confirm the station's opening hours, socket availability and payment method with the operator's line; even stations labelled 7/24 can go into maintenance.
