About
Mersin Naval Museum is a Naval Forces museum opened in 2011, Turkey's fourth naval museum after Istanbul, Çanakkale and İskenderun. The collection displays uniforms, weapons, navigation instruments, ship models and busts from different periods of Turkish maritime history.
Large objects such as mines, torpedoes and landing craft can also be seen in the open area in front of the museum building. Its location on the coastal road lets it be combined with a marina and seafront walk.
